Located within the inner ring road behind Peterborough Cathedral, Serenity Peterborough is less than 10 minutes walk from Peterborough Bus Station and 20 minutes walk from Peterborough Train Station.

We also have our own car park at the rear of our premises which can be accessed via Bishop's Road and South Street.

 

 

We also have a dedicated disabled parking space with full wheelchair access to our premises as well as a stairlift to our first floor treatment rooms.

How to find us ...

By Road

From the North on the A1; the South on the A1(M) or the West on the A605

Pick up the A1139 and head towards Peterborough.  Continue on this dual carriageway for about six miles until you see the sign for the Boongate Services Area. 

Leave the A1139 dual carriageway at the Boongate Services exit but at the bottom of the exit slope head towards the City Centre NOT the services.  At the next roundabout turn left; drive past the BP petrol station and you will find Serenity at the far end of the elegant terrace on your left.

From the East on the A47

Follow signs for Peterborough East and pick up the A1139 Follow this until you see the sign for the Boongate Services Area. 

Leave the A1139 dual carriageway at the Boongate Services exit but at the bottom of the exit slope head towards the City Centre NOT the services.  At the next roundabout turn left; drive past the BP petrol station and you will find Serenity at the far end of the elegant terrace on your left.

From the West on the A47

On approach to Peterborough pick up the A1260 and travel along this dual carriageway without exiting it via any slip roads.  Eventually you come to a roundabout on your road.  Turn left at this (first exit) and join the A1139.  Continue along this road until you see the sign for the Boongate Services Area. 

Leave the A1139 dual carriageway at the Boongate Services exit but at the bottom of the exit slope head towards the City Centre NOT the services.  At the next roundabout turn left; drive past the BP petrol station and you will find Serenity at the far end of the elegant terrace on your left.

Getting Parked

Public car parks are available at each end of St Johns Street. One in Wellington Street at the large roundabout end and others at the mini roundabout end of St Johns Street in Bishops Road.  The on street bays outside the front of Serenity are limited to one hour.  Our private car park is situated directly behind the Therapy Centre.  To get to it travel down St Johns Street past the centre on your left to the mini-roundabout and turn left along Bishops Road.  At the second part of the double bend turn left into South Street (Marked with No Vehicles roadsign and Permit Holders Only)  This is a residents only on street parking zone but you are perfectly entitled to enter the area to park in our private car park.  Go along South Street and just around the right hand bend turn immediate left.  Follow this road as far as you can along the back of the terrace and you will find our car park on the right and the end of the cul-de-sac.

By Train Coach Taxi or Walking

Whatever method of public transport you use to get to Peterborough the easiest route to Serenity is via Westgate.  If arriving by Bus or Coach walk out the Queensgate Bus Station at street level using  the Westgate exit and turn right along Westgate. There is a taxi rank situated on Westgate on the right should you want to use it otherwise refer below for further walking directions (relevant from Bus Station reference)

If you arrive by train at the Main line Railway Station there is a taxi rank just outside the entrance doors.  Should you decide to walk it is about three quarters of a mile to Serenity. Leave the Railway Station by the service road to the right and follow it up to the main Bourges Boulevard dual carriageway.  You need to get across this busy road using the covered footbridge then return to street level the other side and head along the pavement  with traffic nearest you coming towards you.  Walk past the end of the multi storey car park and turn right into Westgate.  Walk down Westgate past the Bus Station and past the Westgate Taxi Rank continue straight ahead passing the Bull Hotel.  At the cross roads carry straight on into Midgate and keep going straight ahead into City Road all the way to the end.  At this T junction, which has restricted vehicle access, you should be able to see Serenity on the other side of the road at the end of the terrace to the right.  Use the Pelicon pedestrian crossing to get across the road safely and head for the therapy centre.
